Young Druid by yuni Young Druid by yuni
Very few people know that the middle finger gesture originates from Celtic druids who used it during the cooldown meditation they did after their sacred rituals. The gesture was a powerful magical sign driving away evil spirits and other distractions while the druid is recovering his energy.

Soon it became a general gesture meaning "please don't bother me as I don't have enough energy at the moment to properly deal with your problem", eventually the more it was used by mere commoners, the more impolite it started to become, from "why don't you deal with it yourself" to "go away, I don't want to know you". From these roots, century after century, grew the modern meaning of the gesture.

I'm in love with this awww man!!! That's awesome I had no clue about the middle finger, but I had a feeling they figured out some way to screw this gesture up. People will figure out how to make anything negative. But any ways I love this. Some how It may represent where you are at in life lol. I don't know you but this piece puts me at ease.

This is again a wonderful rendition of the young male form, and I care not what the current meaning of the middle finger implies. the overall pose seems to link the Druidic culture to Eastern cultures with the young Druid in a "Near-Lotus" position. the white markings (clay, tattoo?) travel in a pleasing way around his body. He is beautiful, and you produced another beautiful work of art, Yuni.
