Ok, I did this one because I thought it might be a little closer to the Star-Child from

But I wanted to keep the older version too :3

I like this version better, especially his attire which makes him more appropriate for positions like this. I wonder what else he can do besides extreme backbends.

Wonderful. I am currently art-blocked beyond all measure. u.u

I want to draw bendies again.

You'd laugh but I'm kinda feeling like I should take a break from drawing them, I still have several pictures to finish but after that I wanna try drawing something else... because sometimes I start seeing bending in half backwards as a "normal" thing to do and it shouldn't be normal because when it's normal it's boring XD

But you totally should try drawing more of them because in your gallery they still look extraordinary and rare, and I really enjoyed the ones you did, I think you capture the very "essence" of backbends and splits beautifully, they look very eye-candy to me eye ^^ Maybe if you need new poses you should try something with a frontbend in it, such as your character relaxing in a chair with the leg behind her head (or back) while smoking or drinking coffee ^^ Because I think you're very good with more "casual" looking scenes, something from the everyday life but with the least expected twist, so it would be actually great to see new pictures digging further in that direction ^o^

It's not really the poses, because I have poses in mind to use, I just . . . can't . . . draw right now!

I have ideas for an impromptu oversplit caused by a naughty horse and a half front bend while shooting pool and even a marinelli bend caused by trying to catch a dog, but I just can't get them onto paper!

Not to my satisfaction, anyway >>

If you can't draw, it's not a problem, it's a blessing. I keep telling myself to stop drawing and take a break because of this slowly developing pain in the wrist and hand because of drawing too much, but I simply can't stop, it's almost like trying to drop smoking. Without drawing for a few days the world becomes so dull you almost want to kill yourself. Your hand grabs the pen almost automatically and the torture has to repeat all over. Several hours later, you stare with your eyes all tired and red at yet another contortionist drawing you made. Another day, another dose... Sorry, got carried away XD;;

You're lucky to have art-blocks every once in a while, I've never had them in the last 7 years. Though I'm pretty sure you see art-blocks as something negative but look at me, I've been drawing for so many years non-stop, made so many drawings it hurts almost physically, and worst of all, nobody ever paid me a dollar for all this, so what's all this drawing if not just a bad habit? XD;;

But I like your ideas, maybe you could just make quick sketches of them on a single piece of paper, this way you'd let them all out AND you don't have to be too careful AND you can still get back to any of them later to make a better version ^^

Well, artist's block would be a rest for my hands if I didn't also knit and play guitar. >>

When my right hand hurts from drawing, I just switch to practicing guitar. If they both hurt, I just knit gently. So, no, my hands never really get a break. XD

I did start a sketch of Gytha shooting pool, and it has turned out tolerably, so I might actually color it, even if it isn't perfect.

Maybe I just need to whine to you for inspiration. XD

Glad I could help XD

Still I think all these things are just bad habits and if you suddenly feel like you don't want to do them, take it as a blessing XD I think not doing anything at all is a bliss, I can't understand why people are obsessed with being profilic, productive, effective, etc.. But then again, I'm always full of weird ideas like that XD;;
