Also, what I missed in that tutorial is that the skin tone needs at least two gradient maps, first for the basic tone, second for the reddish tones. Many people asked why the skin tone still looks so pale despite the complexity of their gradient map, that's because skin is organic and consists of many nuances, it's impossible to map all of them onto a single linear gradient but you can always use an additional gradient map on the top of the basic one to add the slight nuances.
