another i love and omg, we have the same name ;) .... and this is another where i love the detail you give to so many unique "shoes" or adornments for their feet ... his are awesome!

very nice. i dont necessarily think the work is naive, butt he character looks like someone who would be naive yet wise. ...just my opinion.

I know this may not be what you were aiming for but it's almost impossible to interpret things as they are supposed to. This piece to me is freedom. The boy seems like he has the ability to do anything, at peace with the world. Not pulled down by the world but uplifted by it's beauty. I'm osrry my way with words is not beautiful. I'm a want to be novelist living an opressed life, and I think this has inspired me to break free. I love all your art, keep up your work. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had a feeling so powerfull from your art.

Very pretty, I like the ink lines over it, almost like you added them at the end.

The reasons artists get upset over their art being called naive is because of two reasons - simple/lack of concept or more often than not lack of skill. No artist likes being told what's wrong with their work. Those who throw a fit over it every time won't progress as artists though. Fine artists, however, tend to have this belief that art should always aspire to some extremely high, universal concept. Fuck them. >> I admire their dedication, I loathe their elitism.
