Story

So the story is, Àmtril spent his early childhood in a cradle. When he was around 2 he was kidnapped by the wandering Gypsies and was raised by a certain Gypsy woman named Talaitha. She was a pretty fat woman, nobody would ever guess she was a charming contortionist - back when she was a little girl with long black hair that she kept in braids while performing her stunts. She often performed for noble people who loved her exotic act and fed her lots of candies, eventually she grew so addicted to sweets that she grew really fat and couldn't perform contortion anymore, so she turned to bellydancing instead.

But this game is not about her, so let's get back to our hero. After a ritual of fortune-telling, the woman knew Àmtril was destined to become a great acrobat and contortionist, so she put her heart into teaching him everything she still remembered from her own practice.

The other Gypsies didn't care much about these exercises until Àmtril became so good at it that they just had to show him off to the crowd during their usual dancing, singing and fortune-telling. The boy who could take a firm seat on his own shoulders quickly put a lot of extra bread on their tables. Finally they realized the real price of his contortions and began to push him a lot to make him a real rubber boy and exhibit him as a miracle for much bigger money.

In the past he usually enjoyed his exercises a lot, Talaitha would softly push him into the most unnaturally comfortable positions where he felt very calm and secure, and he just loved his contortions. But his "new trainers" were big and often drunken men who didn't have any of Talaitha's experience, they'd often push him the wrong way or too far beyond any reasonable limits and make it hurt like hell. Worst of all, they treated him like an object, not a living being.

So eventually Àmtril ran so far away where the Gypsies couldn't find him. He used his tent building skills that he developed as the Gypsies were used to travel a lot, and settled down in the middle of a forest. Wild animals seemed to have some ancient spiritual connection with elves, so they were all very friendly to him.

He soon discovered he could easily live there for the rest of his life without problems, but he missed his contortions and his bendy back literally begged for some more experience, so he decided to travel around a bit and eventually made some friends in the territory. Matthew, the boy from the tavern nearby, also happened to be a contortionist, trained by his dad to attract more visitors to the tavern. Kagemaru from the ninja camp under the mountains wasn't even a contortionist, he was something out of this world, his body was a deadly weapon and he had so much control over it, it's almost scary... fortunately, he's on Àmtril's side XD;;

Okay, so this is Àmtril by his self-made tent in a safe place deep in the forest where no thieves, bandits or even hunters could possibly find him ^_^

God you're awesome o_o
While there's not much to do, what's here is pretty impressive. Not much to say about the programming: everything works as you'd expect, which means you did a great job ^^. The graphics (including the animations) are just great and full of life (flapping arms XD)
